The Office of Educational Technology, District of St. Croix has the responsibility of training teachers and administrators to be, comfortable, competent, and able to use technology to teach and administer the daily tasks of educating our students.

It also has the responsibility for seeing that technology is effectively incorporated into the educational process. This is accomplished through an comprehensive integrated framework that ensures that all student have the opportunity to develop the learning skills necessary to be productive citizens in an information technology driven global society.

The office is also responsible for establishing minimum hardware standards for classroom applications, maintains in-school networks, acts as a district wide helpdesk, develops and delivers training, implements programs, and assists all curricula areas in technology integration.

This office views technology as a necessary and effective tool needed to enhance the productive capacity of our students, staff, parents and administrators.
