The Mission of Media Library Services in the Virgin Islands public schools is "To make students in the V I recreational readers, critical thinkers, and independent learners capable of using forms of media to research an idea; to work more closely with teachers to integrate media library skills across the curriculum and to make administrators more aware of all resources available and of the professional duties, responsibilities, and competencies of media librarians.
