Our administrators are Ms. Carmen M. Mills and Mr. Raymond Ross Jr. They along with the members of the faculty and staff have high expectations for the students and work tirelessly to ensure that students obtain the best education possible.
The Juanita F. Gardine Elementary School hours are 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Gardine School service students in grades K-6 and has a Special Education component which consists of two Modified Instruction levels. Our enrollment is approximately five hundred students. Gardine's School song is "Our School Will Shine" and the emblem is the dove.
In addition to our regular course of study, students have an opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular activities such as: Math Bee, Spelling Bee, Quiz Bowl, Science Fair, Oral Communication Showcase, Saturday Math Academy, Quadrille Dancing, Basketball, Steelband, Volleyball and after school mentoring from 3: 00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Camp Awark.
